The
Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler FoundationThe Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation (The Stabler Foundation) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has created The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Charitable Fund (Stabler Fund), a Donor Advised Fund at Vanguard Charitable. This fund will enable The Stabler Foundation to continue the charitable legacy of Mr. and Mrs. Stabler for future generations.
As of the end of 2025, The Stabler Foundation has ceased operations, but its charitable mission will be continued by the Stabler Fund administered by Vanguard Charitable. Mr. and Mrs. Stabler established their foundation in 1966. Since its creation, The Stabler Foundation has made grants to over 575 different organizations that are located in or provide services throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania. It is expected that this new fund at Vanguard Charitable will perpetuate The Stabler Foundation's support of many of these charities.
